Add-on to Generate Financial Statements for Corporates (Schedule III Division I) and Non-Corporate Entities

TallyPrime provides an Add-on to help you generate financial statements for Corporate Entities (Schedule III Division I) and Non-Corporate Entities (NCE) in accordance with Schedule III of the Companies Act and the latest ICAI guidelines. Using a smart Excel-based template, the Add-on simplifies financial statement preparation, ensures accuracy, and reduces effort.

You can export data required for preparing financial statements from TallyPrime to Excel, where data is automatically populated in the required formats. Most Trial Balance ledgers are pre-mapped to the appropriate classifications. You only need to complete the remaining mapping and disclosures to generate compliance-ready financial statements. This reduces manual data entry and reconciliation, making the process faster and easier.

How to use the Financial Statement Add-on
in TallyPrime?

01. How to enable add-on for generating financial statements for non-corporates?

Enter your TallyPrime serial number

Click on Check Eligibility

Enter the OTP received on your registered e-mail ID

The Add-on is enabled for your TallyPrime license

02. How to export data to the Excel template?

Press Alt+E (Export) from Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/c, or Trial Balance

Under Reports > select Financial Statements

Press ‘C’ Select Financial Statement for NCE or Schedule III for Division I, as required

Press C (Configure) to set options such as data type, period, folder path, and file name, for creating the file containing TallyPrime data

Once you export the data, TallyPrime accesses the Excel template, populates it with the data, creates a copy of the template with the exported content, and saves it to the configured path

Press Ctrl+A to accept the settings and Press E (Export) to export the data

03. How to generate financial statements?

Getting Started
  • aOpen the Excel template
  • bReview the details in the Basic Information sheet
  • cEnter or verify company details, rounding-off method, and signatory and capital details, if required
Mapping of Data
  • aReview the closing balances populated for the current and previous financial years
  • bCheck the pre-mapped ledgers and update them, if required
  • cAdd the required details in the Input sheet, bifurcate the balances, and provide necessary disclosures to generate the notes
  • dIdentify and complete the fields highlighted in yellow, such as unmapped ledgers or missing details
Validate and Print Financial Statements
  • aComplete the remaining mappings and disclosures
  • bReview the financial statements for accuracy
  • cPrint or export the financial statements in the required format

How to Disable the Financial Statements Add-on?

  • 1Enter the TallyPrime Serial Number
  • 2Click Submit to view the list of Add-ons
  • 3Select the Add-on to disable
  • 4Enter the OTP received on your registered e-mail ID
  • 5The Add-on is disabled for your TallyPrime license

Yes, you can enable either both or one financial statement Add-on, as required. Based on your selection, the corresponding options will be available in TallyPrime.
