Prepare financial statements for Corporate Entities under Schedule III Division I and Non-Corporate Entities using TallyPrime’s Excel-based add-on. The add-on helps businesses, CAs, and tax practitioners generate financial statements in the prescribed formats, aligned with Schedule III of the Companies Act and the latest ICAI guidelines. With smart data export from TallyPrime to Excel, the required formats are auto-populated and most Trial Balance ledgers are pre-mapped to the appropriate accounting classifications.

Simply complete the remaining mapping and disclosures, and your compliance-ready financial statements are ready—reducing manual data entry, reconciliation effort, and preparation time.

How to use the Financial Statement Add-on
in TallyPrime?

01. How to Enable the Financial Statements Add-on?

Enter your TallyPrime serial number

Select both or either of the Add-ons.

Enable Add-on

Enter the OTP received on your registered e-mail ID

The Add-on is enabled for your TallyPrime license. The Excel template is downloaded and saved in the TallyPrime installation folder

02. How to export data to the Excel template?

Press Alt+E (Export) from Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/c, or Trial Balance

Under Reports > select Financial Statements

Select Financial Statement for NCE or Schedule III for Division I, as required

Press C (Configure) to set options such as data type, period, folder path, and file name, for creating the file containing TallyPrime data

Once you export the data, TallyPrime accesses the Excel template, populates it with the data, creates a copy of the template with the exported content, and saves it to the configured path

You can Press Ctrl+A to accept the settings and Press E (Export) to export the data

03. How to generate financial statements?

Getting Started
  • Open the Excel template
  • Review the details in the Basic Information sheet
  • Enter or verify company details, rounding-off method, and signatory and capital details, if required
Mapping of Data
  • Review the closing balances populated for the current and previous financial years
  • Check the pre-mapped ledgers and update them, if required
  • Add the required details in the Input sheet, bifurcate the balances, and provide necessary disclosures to generate the notes
  • Identify and complete the fields highlighted in yellow, such as unmapped ledgers or missing details
Validate and Print Financial Statements
  • Complete the remaining mappings and disclosures
  • Review the financial statements for accuracy
  • Print or export the financial statements in the required format

How to Disable the Financial Statements Add-on?

  • 1Enter the TallyPrime Serial Number
  • 2Click Submit to view the list of Add-ons
  • 3Select the Add-on to disable
  • 4Enter the OTP received on your registered e-mail ID
  • 5The Add-on is disabled for your TallyPrime license

Yes, you can enable either both or one financial statement Add-on, as required. Based on your selection, the corresponding options will be available in TallyPrime.

The OTP is sent to your registered e-mail ID. For a multi-site license, the OTP is sent to the Site Administrator's e-mail ID.

Yes, a valid TSS is required to use the Financial Statements Add-on. The Add-on is compatible with TallyPrime Release 7.1 or later (with active TSS) and Microsoft Excel 2016 or later.
